This study aims at clarifying the general provisions of cybercrime, its elements and its impact on society, the legal problems raised by the communication network, information and cybercrime, and ways of countering their effects on the individual, society and the state. It is clear to us that there is a proliferation of cybercrime at the global level and that security personnel in many countries are finding it extremely difficult to deal with these crimes because the perpetrators of these crimes have high technical capabilities to escape. We have concluded that legislation should be enacted in line with the developments in cybercrime and that national legislation be harmonized with international conventions and norms to enable criminal justice agencies to play their role at the national, regional and international levels in a manner that contributes to the effective control of cybercrime. Keywords: cybercrime, network and information,
