Software piracy remains a significant challenge in the digital age, threatening intellectual property and economic sustainability. This paper presents various hardware and software-based protection methods to secure proprietary software against unauthorized use and reverse engineering. The research introduces four novel protection mechanisms, including USB-dongle-based encryption, remote authentication, and encrypted software licensing. A comprehensive evaluation of these techniques highlights their effectiveness against reverse engineering attacks, providing a robust framework for software security.
