Information Technology Management (ITM) has become a cornerstone of modern organizations, enabling the alignment of technological resources with business objectives. This article explores ITM from both theoretical and practical perspectives. It begins by discussing the importance of ITM in achieving strategic alignment, operational efficiency, innovation, and risk management. The study then outlines the core functions of ITM, including planning, organizing, staffing, controlling, and leading. A methodological framework is proposed, integrating strategic alignment, governance, risk and security management, innovation, and performance evaluation. Practical results demonstrate measurable benefits, such as a 15% reduction in costs, 25% fewer stockouts, 40% fewer cyber incidents, 18% improvements in delivery efficiency, and a 20% decrease in patient processing times. These findings confirm that ITM is not only a theoretical concept but also a practical driver of organizational competitiveness. The article concludes by emphasizing the evolving role of ITM in digital transformation and its importance as a strategic enabler in the digital era.
