Abstract : Throughout history, man has begun to build massive structures such as temples, pyramids and cathedrals to reach the heavens to honor the gods, the legendary Babylonian tower of antiquity. Today's skyscrapers are also monumental buildings, and are built as a symbol of power, wealth and influence.
At the beginning of the 20th century, high buildings were generally designed as offices, and achieved an important status as "privileged space" in the history of American urban architecture. These buildings have emerged as a rapid response to the growing urban population.
